These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SetSync, operated by Craig Muldoon trading as ASSET ARC SERVICES, ABN 41 633 204 015 ("we", "us", "our"). SetSync includes the iOS app (with its Apple Watch companion), the Android app (with its Wear OS companion), the coach portal at coach.setsync.app, the athlete portal at athlete.setsync.app, and this website (together, "SetSync"). By downloading, installing, or using any part of SetSync, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using SetSync, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use SetSync. For apps downloaded from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the extent it is not inconsistent with these Terms.
SetSync is a video analysis platform designed for strength athletes and coaches. It allows users to record training videos (including high frame rate capture where the device supports it), import videos from their device library, and analyse movement using on-device pose estimation (19 joints) and bar path tracking. SetSync provides side-by-side and overlay video comparison, multi-angle synced capture across paired devices, annotations, angle measurements, rep counting, and optional watch-based effort metrics. Video processing and analysis in the apps is performed on your device; the portals add cloud features such as submission review, server-side bar path processing, and coach-requested AI form analysis.
The SetSync apps offer the following in-app purchases, managed entirely through the store you bought them from (Apple's App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android):
Current prices are shown in the store and in the app at the time of purchase. Coach tools are provided through the coach portal, and a coach may also unlock app features for their linked athletes. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings or in Google Play subscription settings, depending on where you purchased. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google respectively, as all payment processing is handled by the store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Prices may change; any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period after notice.
SetSync is a video analysis tool, not a substitute for professional coaching, medical advice, or physiotherapy. The form feedback, angle measurements, pose analysis, movement scores, watch-based effort metrics, and any AI-generated analysis provided through SetSync are for informational purposes only. Pose estimation and automated analysis are approximate and features that depend on them are marked as beta where relevant. You are solely responsible for your own safety during any exercise or training activity. Consult a qualified professional before beginning any new exercise programme or if you have concerns about your form or physical condition.
SetSync provides tools that allow coaches to work with athletes remotely. These features include creating movement templates with target angle ranges, rating athlete lifts, providing written feedback, building training programs, and reviewing submitted videos. If you use these features:
When you submit a lift to a coach, you may optionally upload a video. By uploading a video, you confirm that:
Uploaded videos are stored on Supabase servers (AWS infrastructure). We do not use uploaded videos for any purpose other than facilitating the coach-athlete relationship, including any server-side processing or AI analysis your coach requests on a submission. You may request deletion of uploaded videos at any time via setsync.app/delete-account or by contacting support@setsync.app.
You retain full ownership of all videos, annotations, pose data, training programs, and other content you create within SetSync. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. By using the coach features, you grant the relevant coach (or athlete) a limited right to view and interact with the content you share through the app. This right ends when you remove the content or terminate the coach-athlete link.
You agree not to use SetSync to:
SetSync, including its design, code, default movement templates, icons, themes, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Craig Muldoon trading as ASSET ARC SERVICES. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of SetSync except as permitted by applicable law.
SetSync is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for:
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for SetSync in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Craig Muldoon trading as ASSET ARC SERVICES from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of SetSync, your content, or your violation of these Terms. If you are a coach, this includes claims arising from the coaching services you provide through SetSync.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to SetSync or its features at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases. Data stored locally on your device will remain until you delete the app. Data stored on our servers (coach features) will be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and deleted upon request.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SetSync shall be resolved in the courts of South Australia, Australia.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
